Bradon's going to be on the news :) He entered this photo advertisement contest for the Bakersfield Police Department for their "A life interrupted" program on driving distracted through school. He won first place in 1 of 3 categories in the district! YAY! We went down to the police station for his awards presentation this afternoon. We kept joking that this was just their way to get a bunch of delinquent kids down to the station ;) but we made it out without any collars!
They talked about drinking/texting/distractions while driving, and their program with the high schools in town, presented the awards, took lots of pictures, interviewed Bradon for the evening news, and then had cookies :) I thought it was pretty awesome! Congrats kid- I can still say YOU were the only reason I had for going downtown to the police station ;)
