We're IN!

We are finally in our new house!! YAY!!! I am so happy to finally be moved over, and not be waiting anymore. Now I can start all those projects I have been waiting to do!! I'm actually in the midst of painting and freshening up some walls today. Tomorrow we'll talk about adding color to the rooms, but i'm a little nervous about that one.
Cameron got home Monday night after I had signed for the house. We moved everything, including my NEW PIANO! in on tuesday morning, and since then I have unpacked the kitchen, bedroom, both living rooms, and started some laundry. I am LOVING our house, its the perfect size for us. and my piano looks great! it will sound better once I get it tuned. I won't be posting pictures till I get things hung and it looks more presentable :) Which, at the pace i'm going, should be sometime next week! haha.
Anyway, we have PLENTY of space for visitors!! So come see the "Enchanted City" and more importantly, come see US!!

Happy Halloween...with snow!

Yes, We woke to falling snow this orning! YAY, everyone knows what that means.... My tree goes up! Except.... my overly practical husband is making me wait until we move into the new house in a week and a half to do that. Even though it didn't stick for long, the mountains are covered in snow and I am wrapped up with my hot chocolate on the couch... its a good day.

We carved pumpkins this week for FHE! I debated posting pictures this year because I know pumpking carving is supposed to be a face or somethign spooky, but I just wasn't feeling halloweenish this year. hmm... wonder why!?

Cameron and I decided to take the dogs to explore NM on Saturday. We went for a drive on the other side of the mountain. I guess I didn't realize that we had alot more mountains then the one random one you can see from albuquerque. But we do! And it's beautiful!! The dogs loved the trip, and as hard as I tried, I couldn't get them to sit still long enough to take a good picture.

The only picture I got of both the dogs sitting before Jersey would take off again.... Jersey's tongue really messed it up, I'm telling you- this dog hates to have her picture taken.

HAHHA, this was the huge stick KC found in the stream- she insisted on playing with that one, even if it was too long for her to carry.

And about 30 minutes after we got home it was time for everyone to take a nap.

For the first time in almost 3 years that we have been married I am FINALLY caught up on Laundry!!! Everything is folded/put away and nothing waiting to go in! whew.....

Dog Park

So the girls and I have found a dog park not too far from base that we like to go on days like today. I took my camera along today so I figured I would post some pics of the pups in action! Well... KC's action anyway, Jersey doesn't do much besides try to keep KC from getting the ball, and prancing around like the Princess she thinks she is :)

YAY for Cameron being home!! I am trying to convince him to post the blog on his elk hunting trip, but he thinks i should still do it. Hmm.... we'll see who gives in first :)

So it begins....

I have a total of 4 small boxes, and 2 tubs packed and ready to go!
The realtor called yesterday and said we could close on the house whenever we want... problem is cameron can't be reached because he's HUNTING until who knows when?!! ugh... how does it continue to be such an inconvenience!

Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

So it really should be longer than just the month of December!
It's snowing in Minot already, which means if we were still there I could have my Christmas tree set up already!!! I am very sad that I have to wait, but... Cameron promised that I could set it up as soon as we move into the new house!!! I can hardly wait till November 9th!! :) Only 3 days later than when i got to set it up last year! I have been listening to my Amy Grant Christmas CD all week while i clean the house. It just puts me in such a good mood!
Cameron has been home all week and it has been wonderful! We bought a new couch which we have pretty much lived on all weekend! (it hasn't been very productive) but very relaxing! We had a great date night on Friday- made pizza, and muddy buddy mix, watched Duplicity (not a great movie), and then spent the other 3 hours watching deer/elk hunting shows. Cameron didn't get a tag to hunt this year, but he does get to go with a co-worker on his elk hunt this week. Technically the season doesn't start until next Saturday, but they are leaving Wednesday to hike in and scout out some areas. Ideally, they will have the spot picked so they can shoot an elk first thing Saturday morning and be home by Sunday! :) If not, they will be out there a few more days till he gets one or time runs out. whichever comes first.
I have fully recovered from BodyPump last weekend. This week was pretty slow, but I got a lot of organizing/cleaning done around the house, so that was nice considering my ribs were sore till Wednesday!!
I woke up with pink eye this morning which I got from Jersey. Yes... I said I got pink eye from my dog. In all fairness, I think I gave it to her first. We were visiting our friends last week and the baby had just gotten over it, and then I do Jersey's drops every night, so i probably gave it right to her without realizing it, and then gave it to myself a few days later. Go ME! ha ha, It could have been from anyone though, I do work at a germ infested gym, so who knows what really happened.
Well, Since Cameron has put me in quarantine until he leaves for his trip I'm gonna go listen to my christmas music and start on christmas presents! Everyone have a great halloween! ha ha ha ha!
